u gotta feel it single mix pieni.png

'U Gotta Feel It (single mix)' is second single from my forthcoming jungle album 'Jungle Technology'. Like in the previous single, there's oldskool hardcore stabs and uplifting chords, but now with hardcore's chipmunk vocals. These vocals combined with jungle's rough street sound creates a vivid sound.

STREAM/DOWNLOAD:
One of my favourite things in jungle has always been timestretched breaks as melody. Sounds indeed very technical and quirky, but bear with me, it's one of the coolest sounds. Also that technique isn't much used in new jungle, so now here's some!

'Jungle Technology' album's release date is aimed to be in late August/early September. Alongside digital, there will be small run of good old CD-Rs, in which artwork I have seen effort. They will be duplicated in a factory, so there's also printing in the disk.

trying out the breakbeat blackbox using different inputs, this time my trademark human sinewave synth (actually, square wave is used in this recording)
all I can do is imagine a few or even a band of fellows going batshit on stage, sadly this is all only on my computer.

more scripting, this time less OCD

this might not be interesting yet but it will be once I fix the grain overlaps, atm this is pure chopped and glued together, no windowing or fades or such

A journey through tropical beaches and palm trees, aqua currents, technology, cyber networks, danger, vigilance and concrete, and all of this operated with smoothness. 'Jungle Technology' is an album which has alongside breakbeats and bass, rooted oldskool hardcore and Detroit techno melodies/chords.

AVAILABLE on Spotify/Youtube/Bandcamp etc.: https://fanlink.to/hSaj

Effort has been seen for album's entity, so this is not just a compilation of good tracks. There's story (with interlude tracks) and own theme/aesthetic. The sound has original "rave-melodiousness", so this is not your typical oldskool jungle.

Alongside streaming and download, I put out good old CD-R - 30 copies limited edition. Disks are duplicated in factory, so they have beautiful label art printed. Overall I have seen much effort for cover art and booklet.

Would love to/in my head can easily hear D Double E spitting bars over this, perhaps dressed like the fellow in the thumbnail for the music video
Cheers. I've actually done a bunch of, I dunno, reinstrumentalizations? (there must be a catcher term than that!) using rap or r'n'b acapellas over the top of tunes I've made, e.g.

Very sick, and yeah thats a very fun practice, never done it with an original production but one time threw Shook Ones pt II over Digital’s “Lower Depths” and the result was quite satisfying

Just one more of these - some Missy/Coil mash-up action:

some more neural net gibberish, this time controlled with a stock ableton buncha drums, sounds ok at times, but still struggling to get to the surface.
there's this one groove in it I don't really like but cannot be fucked to redo it at the moment, as this was a quick thing thrown together over the past hour, a lot of time taken by resampling the output of the net when it was fed with realtime audio, since there's a bit of a delay (like half of a beat or so) so had to move things back into sync

u gotta feel it part 2 kansi pieni.png

Jungle Technology album's opening track's vibe and nifty oldskool hardcore stabs are taken into tranquil direction, even house-y if you will. Part 2 is unique blend of rave's chipmunk vocals and stabs, chunky breaks and of course the junglist timestretch danger. Keep on your tropical cyber journey with this.
