If you've traveled through the villages, towns and cities of this strange land then you may have heard talk of those fantasmic eves in April when man, women and beast come together to celebrate life, love and Ray & Nephew's. For those virgin to such nights, life will often take wondrous and strange turns once entered. Sounds unheard by the human soul enter rooms and float down to the sea's shore. Time is stood in a corner and made to bade no Being harm...

Pack your bucket and spade. Nightmoves is back for a very special Bank Holiday Sunday with Floating Points + special guests.

Sam Shephard aka Floating points is the co-founder of the already infamous Eglo records and one of the most pioneering and orginal sounds emerging in new British music.

As a producer Floating Points has put out some of the freshest and most interesting releases of the last few years. From 2009's boogie crossover monster 'Love Me Like This' to his recent synth shuffling face melter 'People's Potential', FP has drawn on influences as diverse as spiritual jazz (even performing as part of a tribute to Sun-Ra at this years world wide awards), detroit techno and UK garage and dubstep (check his first release 'J&W Beat' on Planet Mu).

As keys player and arranger of the 15 piece Floating Points Ensemble alongside another blossoming British Talent, singer Fatima, the diversity of his ability and sound really shine. Check their recent release 'Post Suite' on Ninja Tune or last year's BBC Maida Vale session with Gilles Peterson... definitely a group to watch for big things in the near future.

As a DJ, he's been making waves with his recent sets at London's infamous Plastic People alongside lumiaries lsuch as Detroit's Kyle Hall and Matthew Herbert. For a taste of what to expect check his recent Rinse FM show alongside Four Tet.

Local legend and founder of the passionately ecclectic Well Rounded Record label, Ashley Marlowe is without doubt one of the finest DJs to grace Brighton in recent times. Well Rounded (and it's recent sub label WR Housing Project) has been the outlet for some of the most exciting releases in the scene over the last year and a half. From Deadboy's 'U Cheated' and cheeky Drake edit 'Fireworks', through to Submerse's 'Hold it Down' and Donga and Blake's Grown Up E.P WR has proved itself a consistently vibrant and interesting platform for some of the most exciting producers surfacing in the UK at the moment.

Expect nothing short of a musical journey from Donga who has promised to dig 'extra deep' for our extra special Bank Holiday party.
