It's like that myth where if you kept digging a hole you would come up in China. The only place where that would work is going from Arctic to Antarctic.

If I dug straight through I would come up in Spain!

Almost all of the world would end up in some ocean though.

I think Argentina is the only place where digging would actually result in reaching China.

My flatmate is a cartographer, and he was showing us a cool map he made where the southern hemisphere and the northern hemisphere are in the same rectangle, so one can see what southern latitudes equal what northern ones.
