Patience (After Sebald) - at the ICA for a few days

I'm gonna try and catch this but a mad busy weekend. It's only at the ICA for a few days and then it will fade into the liminal grey leaving only a melancholic palimpsest of a half-remembered, fractured travelogue to places that might almost have been - and yet which remains forever on the edge of the periphery of the brain like some kind of ghost of a ghost. Unless I get the DVD I suppose.

can anyone remember the russian author who was mentioned alongside camus when one of the (female) contributors (whose name escapes) me was describing the way in which objects sometime suddenly become conspicuous or reveal themselves as they really are?
