yeah i'm lukewarm on it
i liked the single with "rq-170" a lot more, i mean that track is properly epic

he's never been much of an album guy as far as i'm concerned

even shedding the past, which is his probably his most lauded lp, pales in comparison to "well done my son", for example

i don't like it much. i didn't like omega much either though. not that he shouldn't move on to new avenues, but it doesn't have much in the way of the ultra tight grooves he excels at. also it's slow. i found it noodley and hard to get through.
but the new terrence dixon lp is fantastic.
