The 100 Most Influential People in the World (Time Magazine, 2012)

I'm not sure if they do this every year, but Time have published their '100 most influential people in the world' list.

I counted, and I know who 21 of them are. The rest can't be that influential, then, can they? Or am I an uncultured oik? Or is it that, despite being 'in the world', the list is US-centric? I have genuinely never heard of, say, Jessica Chastain or Ron Fouchier. And who in heck is Chelsea Handler, apart from a shoe-in for the 'Unfortunate Names' thread? Perhaps a US Dissensian can set me straight?

Also - Raphael Saadiq, wtf? I like Tony!Toni!Tone! and Lucy Pearl just fine, but influential? Pffft.
