Guess!

A - I was ostracized from my friend group after being accused of sexual assault
B - I was ostracized from my friend group for microaggressions to a Halal cart worker
C - I wanted to be with people of my own race
D - the rent was too damn high, the square footage too low, and no reason to stay in a shoebox during Wuhan Killer Sneeze

What Is A Men’s Group?

A men’s group is when a group of men meet regularly in order to better themselves as individuals.

It is not a spiritual group, though spiritual things certainly can take place. It is not a therapy group, even though therapeutic benefits do occur for all who attend. It is not a self-help group, even though selves do get helped.

It is simply a regularly held group container wherein men are able to heal parts of their psyche, and become sharper, wiser, and more well rounded as people.

Sufi has worked very hard to ensure it remains a safe space for Men to express themselves freely. It;s one of the few places, real or virtual, where we can talk freely and be ourselves and we owe Sufi a lot of thanks and gratitidue for keeping it that way.
it is a bit like a madrassa

It’s a problem I’ve had with every male friendship group ever. The idiotic us against the world self reinforcing aspect that’s also one of life’s greatest joys
