I like naivety in music, I think I've mentioned that before.

Naivety or faux-naivety.

I find it very touching, because life is obviously very painful and always ends in existential obliteration. So to be happy and optimistic is heartbreakingly poignant.

And it's also suggestive of a certain thoughtlessness that I covet because I spend every waking second overthinking everything.

you shouldn't do that. treat work like a pointless chore which can't come to an end sooner enough.

Everything is so boring nowadays. Old stuff is very boring, new stuff is very boring. But I liked this.
