She has gone a little quiet, I imagine she is just totting up the precise total and looking for the best way to realise that sum of money in the shortest possible time.

OK, this girl has finally replied... of course, it does look as though she is trying to slide out in various ways. First by claiming that the bet was in fact based on the Julilan rather than Georgian Calendar. Which is pretty lame for two reasons... firstly it's obviously a lie, but secondly, I think it only buys her up to the 14th of Jan, does anyone know if that is correct?

Smiling…. You are certainly wrong in assuming my decisions are based on any one person. Like I told you in the past, Trump will be back. Clearly, it wasn’t by Jan 1 on the Georgian calendar. We never clarified which calendar we are going by, my mistake. However, while you must have been thinking Georgian, I know the plan is following the Julian calendar. Either way, believe we finalized on AZ only. It really doesn’t matter to me. We can hash all of that out once Jan 1st on the Julian calendar rolls around. Just a few more days.
In the meantime, if you weren’t so cocky and shit talking people that you don’t even know, I could and would have let you in on a few things that would make you wealthy beyond your wildest dreams. This little bet would have been pocket change. When shtf, just remember…
All will be well. The world as you know it will be no more. You’ll see NCSWIC and it’s here. Sadly, so many have missed out on the best adventure over the past 4 years. The movie is almost over…
I’m not weaseling out of anything. It’s nothing to me. Remember me telling you if I won it could be donated to a children’s charity? I don’t need the money. In the end, I win… we all win.

So if I'm reading that correctly, she is delaying the deadline until the 14th of Jan and she is denying the involvement of any states beyond AZ, however, on the plus side, it does appear (I think - is that how you read it @Leo , @Mr. Tea?) that she is saying that, unless Arizona does indeed flip to Trump in the next few days, she will honour that part of the bet and pay me the agreed 1,000 dollars.

Sadly, I will miss out her expertise on other matters financial....

On the bit where she says about her decisions being based on any one person, I think that's because I suggested that maybe that she should stop trusting Lindell as all he has achieved in the last year is increasing her indebtedness.

Now she has sent this

Smiling…. You don’t get it, and at this point I don’t expect you to. No one else is waking up until the declas begins. Send your info to heremail@address. This will be a VERY big week. I’ll send the grand either way.

So if I send her my IBAN number, is that risk free? Or shall I send her my paypal details or what? Help me out here guys.

I don't think it's possible to use either of those things to extract money from someone's account. For that she'd need the details of the debit card linked to your account.

If someone wanted to dick you over but only had the information necessary to pay you money, I think the worst they could probably do is send you some money and then claim to PayPal or whoever that you'd somehow got the money out of them by dishonest means.

And yeah, the delta between the J and G calendars currently stands at 13 days, so 1/01 (J) would correspond to 14/01 (G).

Funny how basically everyone who fanatically follows the Shyster-in-Chief turns out also to be a shyster in their own small, sad, mean way, isn't it?

Hitting them from all sides now with Rudy, Jenna Ellis and others subpoenaed for the Jan 6th thing and AG James announcing they have enough evidence in the civil trial relating to his assets (which as AG she can apparently change into a criminal trial if there is enough evidence) to nail him, plus that she is gonna make the whole boiling of them give statements.
With all this going on and Johnson looking like he's on his legs it's cheered me up a little. Of course none of this will right the myriad wrongs of these scumbags so it will be a purely vindictive pleasure but in the circumstances that will do well enough.

i cant understand how you might want to create a system where rural interests arent outshouted by urban ones

ah, yeah, that was in the Bojo thread. but that's not really what we were discussing. more about how fucked the US electoral college is for adding influence for rural states, but the alternative -- one person/one vote, majority rule -- would result in NY/California calling all the shots, which would eventually lead to priorities in dealing with urban issue as the expense of those in rural area.

well yes i wasnt interested in what you were discussing i have to be honest
I do actually get that this is something like the middlebrow of politics debate. At one end you have grand sweeping theories, cataclysmic shocking theories that can't be contained and which cause empires to rise or fall, at the other extreme you have gritty real life stuff such as protest marches and throwing bricks at the police... or it doesn't even have to be that, can be giving talks to your neighbours and changing actual minds by doing real stuff.

In a politics/film analogy, the former are yer real art films.. Tarkovsky and Bunuel etc, the latter are b-movies (the good ones where lack of taste and failure to understand the limits collide in just the right way and create a different kind of art).. and what we're talking about - party politics and voting systems and the actual names of MPs right now - is the middlebrow, it's The English Patient or a period drama with Daniel Day-Lewis. And I don't blame you if you feel that, cos that's exactly how I feel when I'm discussing it, it's not the sublime rarefied stuff of philosophy, and at the same time you can't exactly defend it by saying "Oh that's just theory, this is the real practical bit that matters" cos it's hardly as if the burning issue on the streets is voting reform or the strength of checks and balances within the UK parliamentary system.

In short, this type of "politics" is the worst kind and I can't really try and defend this type of debate about it cos I'm conscious of that myself even as I'm having it. But, I do find it interesting. The English Patient was on telly the other day and I found it quite powerful (well, that's an exaggeration but I need to make it for this point) so...
