Let Luka ridicule me all he likes. Deep down his soul yearns for music that sounds like rain falling through street lamps like angel's tears dropping onto London's parched streets. Or something.

That’s last bit is one I keep going back to. Also 6.25 here

i got all miserable and heartbroken cos the person im still in love with has started seeing someone taller and richer, and apparently they have a massive cock, but this song immediately popped into my head and its really sorted things out

My COTD is a 13 second clip from 2006 which makes me wish I was 22 again.

Also this actually gets across why dubstep was great much better than listening to a song/mix.

I went through a phase of worshipping Dilla but then lost the faith and thought him good but overrated.

Stuff like this and the Spacek 'Eve' RMX makes me a true believer again, though — if only for 5 minutes.

been listening to a few golden oldies today, i'm still in my pyjamas, properly stink. sat in a hot room eating nectarines, hoping, praying for my laptop to stop bleeping with messages... this is the best of the bunch of the day, never heard of this band before, the song reminds me of all those good 60s ones, the crystals, isleys

Jazz like this is a harder sell than the contemplative/mystical/melancholic stuff. But I like this, it gets my leg jiggling, it makes me feel a bit on edge like when I've done a line of coke. Sort of enjoying myself but also on the verge of a panic attack.

What do you want from jazz, Corpse? What do you like when you listen to it?
