Gotta disagree with you there, if you're going to go to 122 you might as well go right down to 110-105, sludge funk. 122 is too fast for that kind of vibe, weirdly enough. Although I'm like that, the 120s are a curse best avoided for me, either really fast 155+ or really slow 110s and below.



There is something very frustrating about the 120s, unless its reggae-fied like old bleep and bass, jackin chicago house etc. The default template of clubbing, one which was ripe for being integrated into the spectacle of late 90s superstardom, even the mature centrist tory end of it like Steve Lawler.

120s was good in the early-mid 90s when it was dj sneak, gemini etc. But it's hard to kick that superclub association being a 90s kid.

I love the seasick bendy bass sound in the intro of this, but when the beat kicks in the image it conjures in my mind is mainly Zebedee.
