New Keef just dropped! - kinda remind me of Billy Woods and Moor Mother lat year, dropping too late for all the year end lists

not been keeping up with hip-hop too well since trap fatigue set in around 2018 but this is refreshing

video detracts from it a lot but rinsing this short tune at the moment. it's probably pretty well known, i don't know, but there's something in here that i haven't heard before. think its the flow or perhaps more particularly the delivery of the words. came across it on some end of year list.

I like this one but I feel like I got bored of his flow in about 3 songs

@shakahislop i mean it's a variation on the now deceased Drakeo the ruler's flow just not as narcoleptic sounding

(i'll go back to staying on my break just commenting on this)

RK going off at length again. This song is wild.
yeah i came across this recently too, on the noz end of year list i think. which i had never heard of before, the list i mean. really like it, the avant-ness of it, the total disregard for genre norms lyrically, the lyrical tangents, the stream of thought thing. nice beat as well.

I put "the real lil Reese" up here a few weeks ago which is similar, though beat is better maybe, if you've not heard it.

really liking this new Babyface Ray track he's been really good for a while
I'm interested to hear his new album, i thought the track he has with Pusha T was ok but one or two of the guests on his upcoming album have me worried, he's got fuckin Wiz Khalifa and Yung Lean on it

bandz ahoy

All jokes aside, are you in good health?
Had a horrible moment there where I saw this post and thought "is Slick Rick dead?"

Phewww

Really like that Babyface Ray choon

Who (if anyone) originated that sort of sleepy, soft-spoken flow? If you know what I mean. Drakeo the Ruler is an exponent of it.
