And the point isn't that Putin is a "super-villain". He's not Magneto or The Joker. But he is, clearly, extremely ruthless. He poisoned that opposition politician and he even used the same stuff he used against Sergei Skripal.

Acknowledging that doesn't mean sticking up for our own government as "the good guys". It means accepting that power works in fundamentally the same way wherever you look, but also that the way power is manifested can differ a great deal from one country to another.

i didn't say he wasn't ruthless. the super villain part comes from you thinking he determines the course of all events in the USA. He's the Puppetmaster. that's what you think. it's barmy.

America's only saving grace is that Russia is even more bumbling than we are. That being said, even a stopped clock is right twice a day (see "2016 US election").

No of course he doesn't "determine" it. That would be silly. I'm saying he obviously has a interest in it, and that his influence might be greater than you think. Especially when you consider that in a delicately balanced contest, as US elections tend to be (even Obama's huge win over McCain was achieved with under 53% of the popular vote), it doesn't take a massive shift to change the overall outcome.

Obviously if enough Americans come to their senses in November then the golden boy will be out on his ear.

No one is saying they're responsible for everything

Putin was visibly happy about Trump being elected. The demoralization and destabilisation shit Bezmenov was on about. Whether that was put in place solely by the Russians or not, that's precisely what's happened. Just how he described it, the long game

Reminds me of that Russian criminal underground idiolect where you can construct a sentence with pretty much any meaning from a handful of core words such as "cunt", "whore", "fag" and "your mum".

The sinister FSB is now attempting to intimidate patty by hacking his laptop/phone and forcing him to type in a teeny tiny font!

I know you've got a bigger workload as staff member, Tea. But it's no excuse. Pull your socks up. You're getting a hedgehog sticker for effort, but we can work our way back up to an otter if you put a little more effort in
