the classic ZYWIEC can design features a healthy and attractive young couple dancing in polish national dress. 4 ingredients, only from the archduke's brewery.

Not a ginormous bottle that gets warm before you finish, but not a 330 ml Coke can size bottle either. The perfect bottle size. Later on they introduced this innovation that allowed you to see if it was at the 'perfect temperature' as if touching the bottle doesn't let you know if it's cold enough or not

reading about booze on wikipedia is endlessly fascinating:

In the 19th century, prior to the advent of refrigeration, German brewers would dig cellars for lagering and fill them with ice from nearby lakes and rivers, which would cool the beer during the summer months. To further protect the cellars from the summer heat, they would plant chestnut trees, which have spreading, dense canopies but shallow roots which would not intrude on the caverns. The practice of serving beer at these sites evolved into the modern beer garden.[9]

5% is a deathly figure. In some respects it's actually too strong but by the same token it's usually too weak.

all UK cans were dropped to 5% - kronenburg, beck's, stella, holsten, grolsch, etc, in about 2007 as i remember, tyskie has been a victim of its own success in that regard

English beer has always been held back by this very issue. it's why our beer culture is so tepid and asinine compared to Belgium.

English beer is the worst in the world traditionally and that is largely cos of the economic need to stay below 5%

I was drinking a lot of the beaver town neck oil and gamma ray in London past few years. It’s everywhere now
