Joyce started to show signs of mental illness in 1930, a year after she began casually dating the 23-year-old Samuel Beckett, then a junior lecturer in English at the Ecole normale supérieure in Paris. In May 1930, while her parents were in Zurich, she invited Beckett to dinner, hoping "to press him into some kind of declaration." He flatly rejected her, explaining that he was only interested in her father and his writing. In his biography of James Joyce, Gordon Bowker argues that the underlying reasons for the rejection were Beckett's keen awareness of the "strong unfulfilled erotic bond between Lucia and her father" and her need to find "a genius father-substitute", together with "her predilection for unprotected sex."

It sounds like some of this stuff is just speculation on the part of scholars.

Eh? Of course it's just speculation! And on extremely scanty albeit suggestive evidence.

I was watching a clip of Olivier the other day and someone left a nice little comment about Shakespeare underneath.

"Spare a thought for that silent little grave in Stratford Upon-Avon, and those bones within it that gave a legacy more precious than Gold."

Finnegans Wake, by kevinoak

When we were planning a visit to London and would have preferred to stay where we could find good restaurants within walking distance. On a travel forum we were recommended to use Food Near Me apps that really work fine Let me introduce my vision of opiod epidemic: Patient - I have anxiety Doctor- errmmm....how do you feel? Never mind I have something that will help Xanax Patient- Great! 3 months later
Patient- I still have anxiety Doctor- Ok! We'll just up the dosage!!!!! (ROFLMAO) Patient- Thanks! Patient then becomes addicted, and sells the extra ones on the street for extra monies to fund addiction Just watch Requiem for a dream. That movie summarizes everything about this epidemic. Opiod addicts need help and thanks God there are drug information hotlines that are free and available 24/7 I visit several websites now searching best hosting and Bluehost is always there and most of the reviews has a good feedback. I was thinking to use it for my small online business hosting. I never tried this since I'm a huge fan of wphosted.net. I only use WPHosted since I run a website. This photo thread is really breath taking. I've been quite new to photography, but already cannot imaging my happy life without it. Photography turns fro just a hobby to a lifestyle. I have an itch at the moment to realize my dream studio shooting project. Once done, keep you posted with my works. I've been to Istanbul, and it didnt light my fire either. Interesting, yes; but I travel for more than architecture. Just never got comfortable. There are some specific great "wow" sights such as the Tokapi palace, Hagia Sophia and one or two of the mosques, plus it's an interesting city of contrasts to walk around (especially if you cross to the Asian side).

Congrats! Ireland is so beautiful, old, relatively unspoiled, gentle, great beaches (seriously), fresh Guinness... no more words needed I guess. Just for planning your trip use travel planning apps like Metro Journey Planner , TripAdvisor, Google /maps, Yelp etc Since I cut the cord, I've been using Firestick. To use it to the full capacity, I often apply tips from this tech blog - https://www.firesticktricks.com/watc...ar-in-usa.html . It's absolutely informative resource with amazing and helpful tips and hacks.

Thank you so much for the amazing flavour combinations. After my kitchen reno, I will try many of them and keep you posted with my feedback

I have just booked our family Greece holiday through https://travelsites.com/last-minute-travel/ . The price was pretty cool so we arranged everything beforehand. Now I'm researching the travel forums to determine things to do and plan thoroughly our time. So keep you posted on what I found out. Actually Blockchain-applications for music only arose. They need time for "swing". However, just the participation of artists is not enough. One of the obstacles to blockade in music is the lack of understanding of the fans, what kind of technology it is. Another is the unwillingness of music labels to introduce technology. Reading Blockchain Books can help understand this issue better. Actually without knowing you and your interests and the reasons why you chose to go to Amsterdam it’s impossible to give any specific advice. For general advice about things to do, see these instagram travel blogs. Choose the blogger you like and follow his/her recommendations.

I would like suggest you to gain complete knowledge about cryptocurrency before trading. You need to decide which coins will be best and trading exchange and need to decide about time to invest. The main rule in crypto - is not to make impulsive decisions.

Two very decent books on Lucia, Joyce's daughter:

Brian and Mary Talbot's graphic novel The Dotter of his Eyes
Alex Pheby's Lucia

Mr. Tea

Let's Talk About Ceps
“Fuck me if you can squatting in the closet, with your clothes up, grunting like a young sow doing her dung, and a big fat dirty snaking thing coming slowly out of your backside.”

What a filthy dirty old ballox!

Ironically, the Marquis De Sade's letters to his wife are mainly him complaining about the prison laundry service or mildly telling her off for not sending him money quickly enough. Think "a kiss for each bum cheek"'s about as racy as it gets.
