I posted the George Mosse one on Facebook as well where it got a few likes and a bit of commentary. Hope the bastards actually read it rather than just signalling their approval.
Definitely a similarity with him and Reich - I presume he'd have read The Mass Psychology of Fascism.

I haven't read anything by Mosse in which he directly talks about Reich, but yes I'd also be amazed if he hadn't read him. Renzo De Felice writes about Reich directly in
Interpretations of Fascism when discussing what he called 'social science' interpretations. He doesn't criticise his ideas so much as the claims made for them.
But, yes, there are probably some interesting overlaps between the two, although I don't think anybody has explored it.
