Get quite a few of those here. Mainly little egrets I think but also great egrets and something called a cattle egret which is a bit rarer I believe, looks pretty much the same as the little one I think.

Feels like we've earned the daffodils this year. Sometimes I feel I haven't quite suffered enough by the time I see them.

I visited Stratford yesterday and saw blackbirds, chaffinches, goldfinches, blue tits, robins.
