I see a lot of Kingfishers on the River Severn. Legend has it, it used to be thought they nested underwater. Occasionally I will hear a splash next to me and think someone has lobbed something at me, only for it to be one of these little birds.

Went shopping in Vasco da Gama centre and then walked by the water and ate some snacks (naughty - sorry) - but, presumably cos numbers are so depleted, the gulls went mental, it was like that Hitchcock film...

I particularly enjoyed the way this guy sat on the railing and then every time we looked away he moved closer like those things out of Doctor Who

Then it just went into a free for all and one snatched some salmon from V's hand

Driving back noticed how many gulls there are further and further from the river, I think just scavenging into towns in desperation. Maybe.

It may have entered the sewer through cracks or breaks in your pipes. Because frogs are amphibians, they have moist skin that can be damaged when it dries out. They seek out moist areas, like your sewer, to keep their skin moist. Frogs can also enter the drain pipe by falling into the vent pipe to your sewer system.

They Come Through the Sewers

The toilets in your house as well as all the other drains empty into a common sewer. If a frog happens to find its way into the sewer, the toilet is the most likely place for it to emerge because toilet drains have a large diameter, and they aren't protected by drain covers

What happens when you flush a frog down the toilet?
"Sometimes the frog gets swept away by the flush and sometimes they don't and will just climb back up the pipe." However, cleaning the toilet with chemical-heavy liquids could be harmful to frogs, Mr Sawyer said.

Got balls of fat and various nuts and seeds loaded into bird feeders and now have a fleet of robins, blue tits and the odd morrigon pecking away

Also greased the stand pole so the squirrels wouldn’t pikey everything, vid of squirrels failing to pole climb pending
