I can't find the thread of pics of comedians, but I'm in Edinburgh right now, Fringe is on and the whole city is covered in posters of billions of comedians all trying to stand out from each other by mugging to the camera.

They all pull the same face, don't they? The "I literally can't believe how crazy and off-the-wall I am!!!!!" face.

We went to see a play about Red Rum. There were four people in the audience. After half an hour the other two left but L and I felt compelled to stay until the bitter end.

I bet this news story is in itself funnier than anything that was actually supposed to be funny in the entire festival:

A bunch of people showed up for the next one and she received a lot of support online from famous comedians then it turned out loads of people only get one or two people showing up, she'd made more or less exactly the same tweet last year and the whole thing was likely a PR stunt.

At least these guys were professional and performed the play as if to a full house. And at the end they said they weren't gonna pass the bucket round so it ended up being free. We saw one other thing and he gave such a hard sell at the end it was basically emotional blackmail - if you don't remunerate me well my children will freeze and starve this winter.
