Been eating a lot of ham and cheese croissants lately... just now had one where I stuck in two or three slices of cured pork and used raclette as the main cheese base cos it melts so well. Chucked in a load of blue cheese and some cheddar to spice up the flavour. Then a load of tomatoes and slices of gherkin to cut through the richness and make it not too cloying. Then I grilled the fucker for 20 min on low heat and now I'm in a cheese coma.

Yeah these are special ones in that they are recently picked so you just chew them as they are (wash first) and then spag out the chaff

They are very sweet but it's tempered a bit cos you have to chew a lot to get it. Not as intense as granulated sugar or gul, but my favourite.

I just read someone refer to a restaurant as "mediocre, but consistently so". meant it as a positive.

would make for great branding.

We just grabbed some sardines and pork from a street bbq... kinda fun, the people doing it serving with a big smile and even dancing together.

It's a kinda strange street this, at the top you've got this gang who sell heroin and crack but it's so relaxed they are part of the scenery, just sat on a chair at the end of a side street with a parasol to keep the sun off, they direct the needy down the alley to score.

At the bottom is a children's playground with this midget lollipop lady who is literally about three feet tall. Dunno why they need a lollipop lady, cars can't drive here.

And at the middle is... this.
