Just had scallops with bacon for a starter. Skate wings with lemon juice, capers and a splash of white wine next. Mmmm.

That looks tasty, where do you get it from? How does the experience differ from eating sugar lumps say?
You can get it from the bigger Asian supermarkets around this time, although can be quite hard to find even up here. probably not available in Portugal.

Very different to eating sugar lumps. You chew it so it's like a sweet juice. You spit out the husks when you've chewed a piece.

Mmm... the name makes it so enticing somehow. We do have a pretty good asian supermarket here, was there earlier in fact, shoulda had a look...
