Thai-style (er, ish) spicy soup with prawns, mushrooms and bamboo shoots. (The mushrooms were BOUGHT, I'm sickened to say, but I think that's allowed at this time of year. Plus shiitake don't grow in the wild here anyway.)
Home-made stock really made the difference. Well good.
Edit: not sure why I felt the need to garnish the bowl with a squeezed-out lemon quarter, but there you go.
