I dont have a problem with that, personally. my main issue is with this idea of power as an "end in itself". similar to accelerationism, if moldbug took his own ideas seriously hed be a neoliberal, since (after all) they're in powerI know. It does read as the complete opposite of how a lot of people view conservatives these days though. It's as though he just flipped the liberal position around and went "no u".
He just says "the American right" though. And it sounds as though he's making the exact same argument Adam Curtis made about progressives and the left.If he were to go "Well, actually... " and clarify that he means actual conservatives and not the GOP then fair enough.
