I get migraine onset from my cloth mask and know that I'm quite sensitive to air quality (I can immediately tell if a room has stagnant air in it), so I guess it's got to be the oxygen, no?

I did run a test with my cloth mask and blood pressure monitor: blood pressure progressively decreased, meaning...???

As far as risk homeostasis goes, masks seem to be emboldening sick people to mingle as there were a few enthusiastic coughers on the tube...they will leak particles anyway while also exacerbating their own condition.
I would cough on public transport to gently encourage anyone less zealous about social distancing to stay the fuck away from me

"So how’s our “world-beating” test and trace system coming along? Well, it’s uncovered a new Covid outbreak — in one of its own call centres (Motherwell, Lanarkshire)."

The situation in the US is a real mess now, just insane numbers of new cases and now the daily deaths creeping up too. Still no visible leadership. It just drives me insane looking at it. Although I can see people are bored of talking about the 1,000 plus deaths every day, I just don't understand how situation is allowed to continue.

nervous about a second wave but things getting back to sane in NYC. restaurants and bars still closed, outdoor service only ("streetaries") and most office workers still out but at least the hospitals aren't overrun.
