So what? They were literally founded by a pair of Conservatives. And even if they weren't, that still wouldn't rule out favours, bribery and so on. I dunno how you can have so high an opinion of any organisation simply because they claim independence.

Curfew does sound totally ridiculous. They've brought one in in Portugal, Rich was complaining about it the other day, I think.
Yeah we call it curfew but all it really means is that you can't buy booze or fags after 8. It's crazy but they were like "We gotta do something... anything" like Leo said.

you keep harping on a point that I am not contesting. you're original comment implied the survey was done by the government, which it wasn't. I was just clarifying that YouGov is an independent company. I made no value judgements on independent companies.
