yeah just the usual but thats the fun thing about climate change denial, it involves more creativty becasue you have to work around the fact there are obvious baddies who have invested multi millions in promoting climate change denial while twirling thier villainous moustaches

this is a good and long overdue counter-conspiracy theory

This isn't why I posted it, but it also syncs up with the first essay in Death Sweat of the Cluster.
Time and again, in contracts for both the test-and-trace programme and protective equipment, sums of £108m have been disbursed. No one can explain why this magic number keeps recurring.

you can be fundamentally left wing and have all sorts of funny beleifs. left wing is a basic orientation not a checklist where you have to tick every box.

Yeah, I like him. It's a good article. The info's out there, but he's done well gathering it all in one place like this. It's important.

Wow wow. Omg. It is possible that you are joking by sending this. I must say i thought it was odd that you were sending a guardian article - i thought it had lost credibility for almost everyone, but i dont know.

I know you won't be very interested in a derailed response so i won't give one. However:
Headline uses essentially ad hominem, even though the authors specifically have called outthe think tank venue as being a declaration that this is beyond left rightpolitics. I mean its sunetra gupta for God's sake! The author has absolutely no interest in reality accusing her of being libertarian.

I will resist the urge to address the restof this tripe but would be willing to do so if it was useful to you

Well if someone subscribes to a number of conspiracy theories popular with the right (including the far right), one of which has transparently been created to serve corporate interests, then I think it's reasonable to question whether their self-image as left-wing is really all that justified.

Well for a start, "beyond left-right politics" is nearly always a code for "right-libertarian", isn't it?
