Clown World = fascist linguistics

Using a big red arrow in a war of infographics (a clown move, ironically) never promotes NHS reform, staff restructuring and budget/pay increases to reflect the needs of the population, ie NHS-2.0. The R-rate is in the green zone (I think), so pro-active measures to think over vs reactive (eg early 2020) is part of the problem too now. @mixed_biscuits your govt is the most libertarian in living memory despite furlough schemes. You don’t have to wear a mask. Laser pointer triggered

Couple of school mates work in A&E and respiratory roles and if they‘ve been running on empty for a year/longer. Both want to quit. Both are pickled and ptsd symptomatic. How do you replace their experience? How do they access mental health support without going on the sick for stress? Have you seen the national debacle in comm mental health teams and face to face appointments? Do you want to wait 10hours in A&E for critical care? How might the care of your parents and friends be affected?

Oh that’s right, we hang them all in the Great Purge

How about your buddies research practice/science on effective covid prophylactics/treatment and push for its use? Problem solved.

Look up the modellers' forecasts - they were very highly mediatised.

All he's done is plonk an arrow and dot on top to point out the obvious.

Presumably you think more power should be given to these fortune-tellers' elbows, despite their continued failures?

How about you tell a couple of consultants with thirty years of practice/science their field of expertise. Not a question. Prophylactics are administered, check your science fool

Double down on the regurgitated bs, you wear it well while shining the pretty laser pointer and the banging graphs

Where are the prophylactics? Where is the early treatment? It must be very well hidden cos everyone who gets covid is still asked to do no more than hide and wait at home.

As for their experience, this is a novel enough challenge and they need to research as if they were noobs

Depending on severity. Steroids were introduced and that’s still the case for people in a bad way. Dexamethasone and Hydrocortisone. But wait, where is Inverrrr, Inverrrr, Ivermectin? Again, defer to your own obstinacy

There’s a difference between self isolating and “hiding”, which infers cowardice and is a whisker away from “cucks“ which you’ve dropped in previously, so I know where your ideological position is situated

Everyone I know who tested poz recently with a brain took the sane option and stayed at home for the week. Draw on and counter whatever you want from these sentences, meme form preferably

There is far more on the table than Ivermectin - which has a far better evidence base than lockdown or masks - but it's testament to GB's obstinacy/incompetence/corruption that it remains to be tried, just as nothing else has either. There's a reason why the pharmacies' shelves are groaning under vit D pills: cos ppl are taking matters in their own hands in the absence of help and the presence of strong evidence.

Vitamin D may not protect against COVID-19, as previously suggested

While previous research early in the pandemic suggested that vitamin D cuts the risk of contracting COVID-19, a new study from McGill University finds there is no genetic evidence that the vitamin works as a protective measure against the coronavirus.

"Vitamin D supplementation as a public health measure to improve outcomes is not supported by this study. Most importantly, our results suggest that investment in other therapeutic or preventative avenues should be prioritized for COVID-19 randomized clinical trials," say the authors.

To assess the relationship between vitamin D levels and COVID-19 susceptibility and severity, the researchers conducted a Mendelian randomization study using genetic variants strongly associated with increased vitamin D levels. They looked at genetic variants of 14,134 individuals with COVID-19 and over 1.2 million individuals without the disease from 11 countries.

In the study published in PLOS Medicine, the researchers found that among people who did develop the disease, there was no difference between vitamin D levels and a likelihood of being hospitalized or falling severely ill.

The RCT thing is a red herring: there's no RCT in favour of drinking water or not holding yr breath until you pass out to prevent covid but just do it cos it's good for you anyway and there's no drawback ffs

All of a piece with the fetish for "natural immunity" - the implication being that those who weren't naturally immune enough to shrug off the infection with no long-lasting effects are genetic Untermenschen who shouldn't have been cluttering up the gene pool in the first place.

And yet you're happy to give government a free pass on its refusal to provide any prophylactics or early treatments, which leaves ppl at the mercy of their natural resilience.

Not arguing against people investing in their health, arguing for sanity

The problem is you’re not at all critical of your own position. There’s zero flex for a fellow noob, just a litany of moving goalposts posing as “absolutes“. Same shit, different lens of the play kaleidoscope. Try running a healthcare unit. Try getting agency on a Saturday. Try and recruit post-Brexit period

Avoiding this thread is one thing, Clown Land comes from a malignant strain of fascism though, fuck that, be more critical of your source’s seeding and if you can’t I’ll take you as such. The ppl? Check you out, what a friend of the ppl

Clown land comes from Mr Tea's post and the graph is factual: it's like hearing the echo of a dog whistle picked up on a shortwave radio in Antarctica.

You're right: despite the 100s of papers on all manner of positively associated treatments with good Covid outcomes we should ignore all of them and stick to bunging cash into Pfizer's pockets while intermittently laying off hundreds of thousands of people through loony lockdowns.
