I definitely read it too quick. I printed out all my notes from here for finnegans wake for someone and it turned out I read it in less than 2 months. And also, I read most of it in and around Joyce day.

I would read both of them again over and above any other novels though.

I read it slowly. It's the kind of book that forces me to do so, like Moby-Dick or Anti-Oedipus. I recently read L.A. Confidential in a few days, but I'm still reading The Pound Era and AO despite starting them ages ago.

Cyclops really slowed me down. So many lists in that section. Circe went on for an eternity too.

I think I wil l definitely read it again, bug maybe in 10 years or something. The only things I read again and again are Amar Chitra Katha comics and Charles bukowski.
