Another good one:

"Joe Biden is promising to delay the vaccine and turn America into a prison state—locking you in your home while letting far-left rioters roam free. The Biden Lockdown will mean no school, no graduations, no weddings, no Thanksgiving, no Christmas, no Fourth of July”

Leo, how many days has it been now since you've left your apartment?

Contrast this with the libertarianist ideas expressed here and in the GBD and which have now come to dominate policy around covid. There should be no collective response, any attempt at mitigation is a dire affront to individual rights, fuck society, fuck my neighbours, fuck the old and the sick, they are the 'dry kindling', the weak useless eaters who were going to die anyway. This is the root of right wing political protest to public health; extreme, ultra-right wing eugenicist libertarianism, a philosophy that violently rejects even the concept of the collective, let alone the protection of the collective at the expense of the individual - and it is no coincidence that much of the funding for this project has come from extreme right wing libertarian sources like the Kochs.

[Roll Safe Think About It meme] "No sickly children to spoil the utopia/If the genetic chaff is allowed to wither away as nature intended."

The 'oh why don't the left oppose the tyranny of public health restrictions?' canard has been thrown around by every kind of idiot over the last couple of years, but the explanation is no mystery.

Even the most radical anarchist who opposes virtually every type of hierarchy and authority and has a fundamental distrust of governments and the state recognises legitimate authority. That is the authority of the surgeon to operate, the pilot to fly the plane or the engineer to build a bridge. Combine this with the collectivist ethos that is a core tenet of every left wing ideology and we have a scenario where public health measures designed to protect the community at the expense of individual rights, whilst not ideal are seen as rooted in compassion and the protection of the collective and as such, not radically contradictory to left values.

This sort of emotive and incorrect caricature is exactly why most people are wary of giving the left the reins

Gotta make up your mind whether Boris is an authoritarian or a libertarian
Libertarian and authoritarianism go hand in hand. The former relies on the latter to protect it from the threat of the collective and only protests when it targets them rather than restricting its brutality to the slavering hordes of the untermensch.

Bear in mind that the UK lockdowns were all late, had little effect on outcomes (because late) and were only done to marginalise the hyperventilating left (rather successfully)

Yes, correct: libertarianism attempts to guard against displays of dumb force by the mindless mob.

But using force to prevent force is acceptable - that's what the police and legal system is for in both libertarianism and more conventional, civilized society

Life expectancy is falling because worse quality people are being produced, due to older parents, an increasing proportion of thick people sprogging and various unnatural forcings like IVF.

American babies are worse this generation than the last - before either austerity or crap food can get at them.

I hate to be blunt but we're getting clogged up with people who shouldn't be here.

Fuck off you eugenicist piece of shit.

Lol @droid , what a load of bollocks.
What the people-who-notice-things spotted is that the protocol for dealing with pandemics was ignored everywhere except Sweden, vaccination and herd immunity were redefined, post hoc ergo propter hoc analyses of efficacy, that The Science was just politics, that covid was used an excuse to divest people of their liberty and livelihoods, and that health authorities and media have been captured by corporate interests.

In response to that a network of very competent citizen epidemiologists and actual scientists (e.g. CEBM Oxford) disputed every part of that, and you and everyone else impugned it as "extreme right wing", just like everything and everyone these days is "racist" or "transphobic". No one who's serious believes that nonsense any more, and even at the CDC the tide is turning: their latest pronouncements on covid now align precisely with the great Barrington declaration, 2 years too late.

(Oh yes, the same CDC have stopped reporting on rates of cancer and heart disease incidence over the past 2-3 months, weirdly)

Cognitive decline due to covid. Well documented, but sad to see firsthand.
