My havent been in the orbit of any boorish bullying types for many many many years but that's largely because I don't have a career. I assume it's inevitable if you work in an office. You're going to get it.

The lads whatsapp group and woke twitter have their similarities. An oppressive collectivity that espouses free expression and edgy humour but is actually a bit of a stress... the in jokes, template craic, fake laughs

Template craic is something i can't get my head around. These little nuggets of data that replicate themselves through people without any modification the same joke or turn of phrase just travelling around like a horrible germ

Mr. Tea

Let's Talk About Ceps
'Template craic' is a great phrase.

"Fun fact", followed by something that is rarely fun and almost never a fact.

Saying a thing that's obviously the opposite of what you mean and then going "Oh wait...". Or starting with "It's almost as if...".

The sad thing is that this isn't confined to Twitter but can be found in opinion columns in the Guardian.

That's because you're the boorish bully!

I suppose colloquialisms are template craic but the deterritorialisation of internet slang makes it repulsive, bland but ominous, something bad is happening to us

A YouTuber said that. They had a breakdown and had to stop and said people shouldn't be contending with that many personalities and opinions on a daily basis.

That makes sense. they're the best example of this terrible affliction. Mutating their personality and facial expressions into mass appeal engagement generators, hey what's up guys, locked into the feedback metrics, always on always wired, horrible.
