Synchronicity

it's night and day. the difference is enormous. we're still 'in it' but you can't sustain the levels we are at in the early days i don't think. there's been a huge slackening.

each time the government relaxed the rules the mood slackened and the edge was dulled.

But we’re still very much in a hypervigilant, paranoid environment. More uncertain and paranoid than any of our lifetimes

yeah but it's not the same it doesn't have the pure clean sharp edge of stage one. it's curdled into something muddier, more ambigious, angrier and more confused.

everyone was in raptures during stage one. coming up on the acid, euphoric. this is the dark, fearful, confused period afterwards

Our patterning instinct has been maxed out for months. We hear it in speech patterns, viral language, it exacerbates our beliefs and superstitions.... everything becomes signal, symbol, signage. fixated on stats. Less toleramce for carelessness, ambiguity, noise and the unknown

I see a lot of people play up the fun aspects. A wee bit the lady doth. No doubt it’s interesting. No doubt enjoyable aspects but if you think that’s the zeitgeist your finger is not on the pulse mate

we were all at the absolute end of our tether. we couldnt carry on like that. something has happened. something erupted.

I don’t know what’s happening it’s far too complex for me. That’s what I’m getting at, I think synchronicity, paranoia, entrenching is a response to too much complexity. Completely overwhelmed

This is what I see and hear. I’m reading less than I ever have. Little news, no long reads, think pieces. This is what I feel from others. This is what you would feel if you were open to it

you know i adore you and admire you shiels but with all due respect you spent the whole thing in a hermitage perched on a rock off the west coast of Ireland.
