I like berlin a lot but when Ive been to clubs there there's been a strange wholesomeness to it. Even places like berghain. Raving as a fortifying leisure activity like jogging or something. Doesn't have the wild messiness that raving in the uk can have.

True. I liked that aspect of berghain. From a UK or Irish perspective what gets highlighted is the same stories about intense techno, piss on faces etc but then the leisurey free welcoming reality of it all is brilliant

Observation. 1st skip listen ploddy. Turned up the volume to give it some balls, back to intro and outstanding deeper territory emerges. Also the not so minor matter that it sustains itself over the course, ideal for mixing. The simplicity is beguiling, but it's the harmonics, beat craft and structure that transform the listening experience.

fuck that. i want amphetamine psychosis rave, im turkish, and berliners despise us. They don't let us into their clubs. it's why despite around 2 million turks living in the country there is no german equivalent to the nuum. racist city berlin is. Cologne is boss though.
