@wild greens If I had to pick one jock who had the ears to grasp and toy with momentum, nuance and harmonics, it would have to be Simon DK. He is to House across these islands what Alfredo is/was to Balearic. The Disco King. People talk about programming sets. Simon had this gift of being able to pick out the perfect record to blend into what was playing. Free party pioneer and by sheer force of consistency blew all the pretenders away. Zero ego, some dark turns like anyone else yet his mixes keep inspiring. Huge influence on folks like Brawther. A dubbier set but it bumps and swings
