As far as deep house goes Larry heard and Ron Trent are the masters.

And im so in love with release yourself Arthur brick! Best bassline ever, sounds so heavy on big speakers

@jorge: Morning factory is probably my fave deep house record ever. Osunlade played it the night I got converted. Somewhere toward the end of the set. Transcendental.

Check out murk records. So many of their tracks share that release myself vibe

Yeah I love lots of the murk stuff but I haven't heard anything in their catalogue that quite matches release yourself tbh, unless you've got some suggestions?

Intruder - U Got Me
Bobby Pruit - Trid So Hard (Special Vocal Mix)
Dynamo Electrix - You
Liberty City - Some Lovin (Murk Mix)

Ah nice, I was hoping something like this would come up soon. I've moved away from it now but this was very much my bread and butter. I think it's an interesting way to look at the north/south divide. The really "deep" stuff isn't London music at all - it's too warm, comfortable, content. People love it (or used to) in Leeds though...

Lord and saviour Elon apparently has 100 unreleased Deep House tracks

"You know how YouTube is. After that Disclosure set I got taken on a 'Suggested for you' journey of Pépé Bradock, DJ Koze, Mathew Herbert, Kerri Chandler, Larry Heard. All of those guys."

"I bought myself a crate of Mars milkshakes, because that's what I drink when I work, and locked myself away in the studio. I really got to work. Tune after tune after tune. I'd say I've got more than 100 deep house tunes ready. I can't wait to launch them into the world."

I love this one, a good example of what thirdform was talking about -> all about the groove

This is another personal fav but its starting to veer off into that really clean cut, minimal sound thats very en vogue and i dont like so much. There's a quote from simon that i read on here about the aesthetic of tech house and how it sounds like you've already taken an e. similar kinda deal i suppose

Example of a recent tune. Too artificial, no warmth... meh
