Well East Side Radio is a small thing. It's mainly two guys and a few helpers, Tiago certainly is quite technical (in fact they both are) but they were a bit blindsided by this. As far as I know he built the whole platform etc himself, so probably with a bit of time he could have set up something so that people could connect at home and so on... but it was a bit like "Aaargh, no-one can come in next week, er, send us some mixes". Maybe individuals could figure something out but they would be at the mercy of wi-fi or whatever like you said. This is a simple way to keep the station going in the short term... though whether they will get enough people to keep it online for months who knows? I'll certainly do anything to help out that I can (probably not much admittedly) cos they've always been good to us and I like what they're trying to do - fuck it, I really like them, they're nice guys.
