I've seen those too. It's a good thing to blog about because the range of instant noodles is pretty much inexhaustible. Have you tried the cheese ones?

These are the ones I've had. It's more a kind of processed cheese flavour, or like the flavour of a quaver or something. One of those things that is sort of disgusting and moreish all at once.

These sesame noodles are really good too. I actually was hoping to get some in See Woo yesterday but as I say the instant noodle aisle had been decimated.

They come in three different colours, depending on heat level. I get the hot ones cos I'm hard.

I used to ride my bike up the Thames to Dartford with my mates so I know Crossness. There's a post I made somewhere here about the famous Sludge Incinerator

yeah thats one of the best cycles going. the red lights of erith theatre beckoning you in after the miles of effluent pipes and moped carcasses, its like arriving in new orleans

You see that Morrisons as you come in. Beautiful. Tbh a lot of the time we used to only get as far as Erith and then turn round. We tried to get to Whitstable once but gave up at Rochester.

No. Sounds kind of wrong since cheese is pretty much alien to East Asian cuisine.

The Ramen Rater guy has rated about 3,500 kinds of noodles. That's pretty impressive.

East Asian cultures are embracing cheese. In woebots health and the counter culture he says cheese should be avoided for spiritual purity as it is addictive, it gives us a chemical high

We never used to hang around there much. That lot would get a kebab to refuel, we'd smoke a spliff and then head off. Did you used to live round that way?

nah i used to cycle there a lot from bermondsey. it gets really good after you pass the van that sells clams in woolwich, all these monoliths occasionally popping up, thamesmead, crossness, dartford crossing. in that much open space they feel as monumental as the sound mirrors in denge

I'll find some more photos if I can. I'm sure I have some snaps of places you'll recognise. I must do.

theres that church run cafe next to that which is like walking into the armando ianucci sketch with his elderly mate, you can get an instant coffee with a nice old man called bill who has loads of stories about getting nicked for poaching on the isle of sheppey

I love the idea of poaching. Such an endearingly old-fashioned crime.
