Do you mean 'are you enjoying quarantine?' I sort of am really, feel a bit guilty for doing so, but otherwise it's like a relaxing holiday

Just can't help worrying that something bad might happen to me or someone I know. Like, shit might get real sort of feel, in the back of my mind. But other than that, I don't mind not having to go out so much, got a garden. Pretty lucky really.

Well you can't have everything. You need to be a multi millionaire to have a garden in London that's why I ask

Yeah not quite the same up north. But im still massively priveleged I know that. Very lucky. I'm starting to feel bad vibes from some of the new stories I'm seeing, people who are not so much social distancing as trapped in bad circumstances etc.

There are definite upsides to it. Imagine going out in central London after this - all those people. It'll be fucking weird and overwhelming.

there's obviously loads of added stress (health, job, dodging invisible COVID droplets when at the market, etc.) but it is nice to have lots of previously required decision making off the table. not having to go out and socialize when you don't really feel into it, not having to negotiate a day when people can make it, not having to wait 20 minutes for the subway at midnight, not having to go out in shitty weather, not spending money on stupid things.

can't say the pluses really outweigh the minuses, but the pluses are pretty good.

Yeah, I'm enjoying not having to drive to work and back every day. Saving a small fortune on fuel, too.

3 hours near enough in commuting time per day for me. And I can pretty much do all I need to do at home. Gonna be tricky getting me back in the office 5 days a week afterwards

My sister is saying the same thing. A lot of people are going to be very reluctant to go back to the old routine now they know they can do their jobs just fine from home.

while you have distractions at home and there's no boss looking over your shoulder (so you can slack off), working in an office environment can be even worse. there's always someone dropping by your desk to shoot the breeze, lots of water-cooling BS, or maybe you get pulled into irrelevant meetings just because you're present and visible. I've worked from home since 2002 and haven't once missed working in an office once.

One of those perfect spring days. Crystal clear out on the downs, the sea becalmed and aglitter. Birdsong and diverse scents charm the air Maybe there is something in the practice of sacrificing humans to appease the spirits. the blood gods have been appeased and reward the living with halycon days. XR should invoke and serve the blood gods in future now that mass death has a use case.
