Really annoying. Shouting and jumping about, putting the same song on again and again. Then I wet myself

It's just booze mate. It's not that powerful like datura. You sure you're not just imputing those effects as something you have to do when drunk?

That is a lot of British drinking culture actually. deceiving oneself that one has to act in a certain way when drunk. But actually all booze does when you're hammered is make you a bit gregarious and a bit angered and a bit sleepy. but it can all be controlled. unless you drink beyond consciousness and vomit. But that's another kettle of fish.

don't get me wrong alcohol is haram for a reason, do not ever start it again, but Brits just take those uncouth and annoying behaviours when drunk to extreme levels.

I think it was sort of like that... Like drinking to oblivion type stuff, cos I wasn't doing drugs so much. And just getting messier and messier with it. Time to stop. I'm no spring chicken like you.

But also the main thing with booze, like we said earlier, is the ridiculous availability of it. It's everywhere, unavoidable.

I never even used to drink that much, always preferred smoking weed, but you just get into it cos its all over the shop.

the wife was on the phone with a casual friend who we haven't heard from in about a year, and when she asked what's new, the friend says about her husband "well, steve's been sober for six months". when she told me after the call, we both had the same reaction: we had no idea, just always thought the guy was ok but a bit of a dick, not the type we'd hang with on his own. but now, with this new information, we wonder if it was just the drink that made him that way.

just listened to SIGN all the way through as well. I really like these two, most of the rest of it i can take or leave:

too many plodding chord progressions and arid textures on way too much of this stuff.

Have you listened to PLUS as well? Remember it sounding cool, but found it underwhelming in comparison.

i find with their music the "standout tracks" are different for everyone. honestly tear up whenever i listen to these two, they paint very vivid and emotional pictures imo:
