anything after and including "beggars banquet"

no brian - he only played on one tracl on beggars banquet.

generally more consistent. better? more "powerful"? mystic?

going to travel to the far end myself...

this always strikes me as very close to liquid liquid/esg territory

this is lovely too.

they're so damn confident at this point that they don't overplay. elegance/simplicity/space.

WONDERFUL atmospheric video. and excellent acting from mick and keef pretending they're friends. LOL.

He's lost his sex appeal in that one and is already looking like Richard Branson.

here's another - this one i remember on the radio as a mere boy in 1983 - and the sense too that they were not quite an irrelevence

Start Me Up, Moonlight Mile, etc too obvious i suppose

love the way it turns into a completely different song / type of music (Santana-ish?) half way through

i am conceptually obliged, given my forum moniker, to propose this one

personally i'd rather be called Gimme Shelter or Moonlight Mile

or Monkey Man

I was in college when "some girls" came out and it seemed like rise of punk/new wave reenergized the stones, a back to basics album after the slick sheen of "black and blue".

collectors note: I still have my original vinyl with all the faces on the cover. also the zipper "sticky fingers" and the lenticular image "Their Satanic Majesties Request" albums as well.

it changes how much you post! i set it up a long time ago - a "thousand light years from home" (boom boom)

and once you edit it (like my FKA Woebot) you keep control of it.
