Bandcamp Pandemic Revenue Waiver - Specials, Links, Favourites et al

Hai.
So, in these weird times, since the "business" (i.e. making a living) off music making is now even more f'd up than usual, the Bandcamp Revenue Waiver is a great gesture by a (imo) support-worthy distribution model - that many labels/producers/artists appreciate (and maybe highlights the importance for a direct distribution model like bandcamp for independent artists to people/fans/consumers who have so far supported their favourite artists by going to gigs or paying a streaming service (the later = #BrokenRecord= ) ) - as this is probably one of the best means to support your old/new favourites, especially the ones that could (barely) live by touring extensively before, and have no income during these times of social distancing...

A few to start with, who mentioned on their twitterfacewebs that they are dropping (or have already) something special for the upcoming Bandcamp Revenue Waiver day, i.e. 1st of May (as well as June 5 and July 3), 2020, or to help them during these times with no gigs:

If you guys come across some, or just some favourites, please post'em - preparing for the digital shopping spree tomorrow... :D

One of the favourites, moving to the upper list, where there's a special release tomorrow; Presha (https://samuraimusic.bandcamp.com/ ) just mentioned there's something special from Samurai tomorrow now too

Also, scratchclart & grandmixxer

Thanks for those!

I have been furnishing my living quarters atmosphere with the ambient/plunderphonics/circular music of this tiny Danish label Stress Indicators who deal with Bandcamp strictly.

Since there's been little interest here seemingly - should I keep posting these ?

Plastic Ian asking who's gonna have new bits ready for Friday:

This is a good thread - all black artists listed. I bought the Spae Afrika, first thing on here:
Kevin Martin has a new one out which sounds seriously great:

I also picked up this on Flaming Pines:
Not listened to it yet but it sounds like a pan-European travelogue from an Iranian guy who ended up in Belfast:

There's actually so much great stuff it's kinda overwhelming.

Stuff I’ve picked up and would recommend Before You Begin, by Sequoyah Murray
Dig A Pit, by Wizard Apprentice
Georgia Anne Muldrow - Overload
Serpentwithfeet
Roy Kinsey

Bought this album, really really good, freaky Chicago house, he's got loads of stuff on his bandcamp, well worth a delve

This Terrence Dixon album too, similarly weird but more loopy and technoey

And some classic Glenn underground house on peacefrog, I wonder what cut the artists get from these peacefrog digital reissues tho, no way of knowing.

Nice. could almost think that track was a 70s reggae thing - I think it's the organ
I put the George Floyd thing in the politics thread but there's no reason not to list it twice
It sort of makes it sadder for me, his death, 'cos it humanises him, he stops being a symbol about which I know nothing.

Absolute fire list of black artists to stick into your cart for that time in two weeks when Bandcamp donate all profits to the NAACP Defence fund.
