just relistening to this (the start of your ending) and it sounds great. i love the clap on that beat, very crisp, seems to come in at just the right time as well.

i might do a versus CD for the car with this, need a suitable feminine voice as a counterpoint. i've previously used steeleye span (wiley), kate bush (gza liquid swords), joni mitchell (various lads eg t2, jai paul, novelist).

maybe marianne faithfull broken english will do it.

yeah sounds great actually - the little bits of dialogue in between are quite heavy. sound like a very real band to me.

in the all time top 5 things made by teenagers

this is on the temperatures rising 12 i got one saturday morning when i was 15 at haggle vinyl on essex road. for those that dont know it was reluctantly managed by a geriatric dickensian crank who always wore a fez and pencil moustache. he was a world renowned bastard and people would often go in there to rearrange records or stack them up in an inconvenient manner to wind him up. the man in front of me asked if he could have a 5er off and the response was "no chance but i'll call you a cunt for free"

As soon as I heard shook ones pt 2 on Westwood I ran out to HMV to buy the album. Unfortunately the album wasn't out and I ended up with juvenile hell, confused and disappointed.
