Anyone watch this? Is it real... it seems too good to be true but it's fascinating stuff.
Please don't tell me it's not real cos it's basically my favourite thing on telly.

No-one watched this programme?
If you don't know, it's this US documentary about drugs. Each episode (and there are millions) has a different focus, it might be cocaine from Columbia or Meth in the Nashville country scene, or sometimes it's just one city and all the drugs people take on carnival weekend, or whatever, it's just always about drugs. And it takes the form of a voiceover coupled with loads of people talking to the camera - and this is where the strength of the show lies (and why sometimes I wonder if they don't fake it cos it seems too good to be true), they interview people at every part of the trade, that's addicts, street dealers, medium level gang leaders, kingpins, cartel hitmen, police, DEA etc the gangsters all wear masks and basically brag to the camera waving around guns and key3s of mdma or whatever, and it's just so fascinating the way that some of them just show off, some are thoughtful, some talk about how they like to get away from the corner and go to art galleries at the weekend. You see the whole gamut from happy homeless crackheads and frightened smugglers to angry cops raiding trap houses and buy busts (I always want the guy to get away) etc
The darkest are the cartel killers and a smack dealer on Long Island who always put one "hotshot" in each batch he passes on to his street sellers cos a death by OD is good for business.
This ex-narcotics cop who spent his whole career arresting dealers and users... and then retired and spent his whole pension on drugs made me crack up (a lot of it is funny in fact)... oh I can't get the video to work, you're gonna have to take my word for it.
