all that happens is a reimagining of rapping. so the entire game is different.
i mean but this is nonsense cause by this insistance you could say what was happening in the west coast, florida and parts of texas weren't "takes" on rapping.

also by this logic of rapping not existing anymore that would mean that we're a) completly beyond the idea of words mattering and b) that we're now in a "post-rap" era which the former is questionable when thinking about the spread of Michigan rap and how NBA Youngboy is probably the most popular rapper of the "streaming" era

Future is fucking awful. Probably the worst thing in music over the last fifteen years

pass the sick bucket
it's hilarious how future is at once more advanced and less 'rappedy rap' than all the Young Thug and Playboy carty that barty creams over. Pure bombed out elongated benzo glossalalia.

I hope he's picking fights with all dance music journalists because they probably don't even know what this refers to in his mythos.

Gucci said once said once Future isn't a great rapper but he is a great pop songwriter which I think is true.
i dunno if i agree with Gucci on that one considering how Future bested Free Bricks 1, he's right about Future being a good pop songwriter but that worked at the same time as him making tracks like Mark Mcgwire, Shit! and Tony Montana

but ever since his last 3 tapes he's just been locked into this one particular sound and at this point its one dimensional schtick, all the quirks and complexities have just been flatlined now.

so this comp came out not too long ago quite a surprise to see
if you like Freestyle Fellowship, Open Mike Eagle,Busdriver or any of those guys to come out of the Good Life cafe you'll like this, think of it as an introduction to C.V.E.

I kinda tuned out of Future since Wizrd tbh. Idk if I agree re. Free Bricks. I think he worked really well against Gucci 'cos he seemed to be working the hooks against Gucci's raps.

I started listening to the CVE tape yesterday. I think it's excellent though it didn't bend my head up like the best new rap does.

i mean you've heard that Project Blowed stuff right? so yeah of course it wouldn't really blow your head back but that doesn't mean that the music isn't any less interesting

that's true but he wasn't just doing the hooks and Gucci even though he's got 4 solo tracks on it sounds like he's on autopilot
