Never going back to the office

I can’t find it now, but there was huge support for going back to the office amongst retired people in one survey. Not for them, of course.

It's funny to see the Tories catering exclusively to the older generations backfire like this.

Although Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said at the start of the year that he wanted to use the welfare system better to get people back to work, around 90% of people aged 55 to 59 who have retired early or are out of work do not depend on state benefits, according to an Office for National Statistics survey.

You can't blame them. If you can afford not to work then why would you?
