It's the sound of things being broken down to their component parts, therefore the sound of death, but is quite a reassuring sound because of the movement in which it exists, silence, then a little soft crunch, the silence again? It's telling us death isn't so bad?

I like the really crunchy ones, the light crispy ones and the gooey ones that burst everywhere.

interesting reading. if a human were crushed, there would be screaming, panic, fear, blood, guts, sirens from rescue vehicles, etc. in contrast, this is a serene, peaceful environment with no aftereffects.

I did actually consider that they could lull people with twenty minutes or so of crushing inanimate objects only to run over a person or a pet or something at the end.

is it a coincidence that it's arrived on the radar (i'm guessing it was a sugested video leo?) at the same time as the riots? A way of coming to terms with all of that real violence?
