you'll be better than me, all supple and strong and bendy from climbing so you don't need a really easy intro. some people are just naturals. woops can do the lotus position and he's never done yoga. i'll never be able to do it even if i practice every day till i'm 100. one of lifes many injustices. on the other hand i can beat him in an arm wrestle.

i started a kickboxing course last tuesday after not having done any sport for more than 15 years and i need to become way more flexibel. my teacher could move her legs and arms in every direction, she could bend everything. i need to be more elastic like that as well.

anyway, i'm gonna start the 31 day yoga revolution!

I think I need to go to a class. It’s the only way I’d stay committed the whole way through because others will be watching and judging and it’s also how I’ll meet my wife

Been doing bit and bobs of Adriene - good to know there's a course to follow,
I feel a very strong connection to her.

I did the the 30 day 'Home' program. I didn't feel all the emotional depth level stuff. But it was a good stretching exercise while WFH.

Stated 30 days this morning.
Pretty fast-moving and I collapsed occasionally trying to look at the wall-mounted telly mid-manoeuvre.

i prefer this guy to adriene, i hate doing 50 forward folds in a session. i was doing a pretty great yoga one day/serious workout the next thing for about a month of quarantine but now i've lost all my motivation and just do yoga a couple times a week and take a long walk when it doesn't rain.

I've been using my friends subscription to aloyoga recently - its good, loads of diff classes. I'm currently doing a handstands class and a front splits class. the other day I managed to get my feet off the floor in firefly. which felt like a real achievement

Your Day 10 yoga practice is soft and sweet. A therapeutic practice that focuses on the power of subtle movements and the energetic body. Bring a thoughtfulness to the mat as you balance stability and ease. Relax and notice. Thoughtfulness is found in the little things today. Focus on the way in which you approach your actions on the mat and your practice will grow. Focus the way you move on the mat and you will focus the way you move in the world.
