I suppose it can be done in increments. I mean, the basic structure of breach-from-beliefs and return-to-beliefs allows for durations of inactivity between them.

As for me, I've kinda been doing this for a while, just trying to elaborate upon it a bit more. And honestly it is a bit nerve-wracking, which is why I'm responding to it with such tenacious analysis.

Feels like Chaos Magic is somewhere related in here too, though my understanding of it is pretty rudimentary so apologies to anyone that knows better.
Your sigil acts as a work around to all of your psychic inhibitors- focus on the sigil and leave your pysche, a little like a mantra for meditation. Then I believe when you find your sigil manifested out in public (maybe its a lizard or something?) your supposed to follow it unquestioningly. The goal of Chaos Magic a lot like what youve got worked out here, too shed all thats coded into you passively

Couldn't what @constant escape is suggesting also amount to purposefully alienating yourself from your sigil then taking it up again?

I feel rather ill equipped - chaos magick is unfamiliar for me as well, but your points do highlight its relevancy here.

And I'm willing to take magick as seriously as science (although I must lean more to the latter).

There is something magickal about this kind of praxis, provided it is effective - and my own limited results thus far indicate that it is.

I feel like Joe Rogan suggesting everyone start a podcast now that I have a blog and keep telling other people to start one, but have you ever thought about starting a blog?

Im blending thoughts here, but I know in transcendental meditation your mantra is supposed to be little more than sound. Its not supposed to resemble or suggest any word or thing you know. It suggests nothing. the idea is that its a tool to use to alienate yourself

I've just started organizing this to make a pdf book that I could publish on monoskop, archive.org, etc.

But a blog would be a nice hub.

Totally up my alley, thanks guys.

I'm still feeling out the "reactionary left" / "anti-woke left" etc that seem to be the areas that bleed into unrecognizable territory, and render the model of left/right almost completely ineffective.

The whole horseshoe dynamic that Nick Land seems to embody, or at least serve as a posterboy for, is largely what prompted any enquiry into the willful steering/navigation though ideological terrains.

Good point. It all seems laden with potential dangers, "cover" is a good way of saying it.

I mean, I can still see how "identity politics" is harmfully reductive - but there's a sprawling rabbit hole underfoot here.

Anyway, it could be cool/productive to navigate, to study the kind of cover you mention. I do think something about this kind of alt-left whatever area is aiming in the right direction, but there still seems to be plenty of resentment fueling the recoil/reaction to wokeness. Tricky stuff man.

Any thoughts on Curtis Yarvin?

Not sure if I've experienced such a degree of signal-jamming from a person before, in terms of the urges you feel to place someone politically. Not that those urges aren't worth interrogating, granted.

the things about sourcery of the spectacle is that it had a guru figure steering the ship but he got disgusted with modern life and went to live off-grid in the woods and after that the whole forum broke down
