how do you post these pictures? do you do it from your phone? it keeps saying they're too large when i try but how do i make them smaller? great picture by the way!

On an Iphone you can choose the image size after you have selected an image. It's in small blue text. That one I posted is "Large" and is about 600k. "Actual size" was 4megs.

I found out from a geography teacher that underground pipes siphon the water away to treatment plants, where the water is cleaned and various things added, then it is piped to our homes.

This is one of the reasons you can't swim in reservoirs, as there is significant undertow caused by the siphoning process.

Also we don't want your bollock-sweat contaminating our drinking water, thank you very much.

Anyone read the story about someone contracting a brain-eating amoeba in Florida? Apparently it's incredibly rare and lives in warm freshwater, but still puts me off swimming in anything.

Yeah that would be quite good actually. I'm not keen on 'pre' cos it feels jargony, would prefer 'before'. I think lukas original wording was actually very good, straight to the point no pissing about, which I thin kid what you want. And I think bollock sweat really cuts to the heart of thongs

We went swimming in a chalk pit last summer and wife got a rash, stayed on her for weeks

Just go to the swimming pool next time. God knows what's in some of these bodies of water.

There's that small fish somewhere in the world which can swim up your urine stream and lodge itself in your urethra.
