I was thinking last night about how Britain had big R&B hits in the 80s and was a major player and was completely irrelevant and invisible in the '90s

apart from this and Return Of The Mack and You're The One I Love, I don't think we've managed anything interesting in twenty-five years. Eternal were massive - a million copies sold of their debut album - and yet they've been airbrushed from history, its only Spice Girls vs All Saints in the story of 90s girl groups. Jettisoning their sole white member to pursue US success probably didn't help.
