Do you find things go better or worse for you when you listen to it? How sharp are your instincts?

Couldn't one argue that much of our social codes and protocols are built around suppressing your gut, weighing it down with this or that costume? So one would, normally, be conditioned against using their gut, however healthy it would otherwise be, no?

Listening to your gut and being a "natural man", as my friends dad says, almost necessarily pits you against Goliath here. Unless, well, your gut is sharp enough to puncture the callous(ing) costumes of others, and reach them.

I thought this was going to be about gut health for a moment. I didn't have any late night snacks last night as I'd been listening to a seminar about nutriton and the dude said having some time off chomping helps the gut to heal.

The basic logic you wouldn't do multiple sets of exercise all day. You'd rest yr guns. Eating and grazing all day doesn't give your gut a chance to rest, increases (the logic goes, idk if it's true). This allegedly will increase nutrient uptake, stop digestive discomfort and inflammation and so on.

It really puts me off food sometimes, people talking about food I'm really glad Ive become a person who eats the same meal every day. It's the only sane response.

I don't rate Bruce Sterling as a writer but he said something in an old interview that always stuck with me and turned out to be bang on the money. He said people in the future won't take recreational drugs they will take performance enhancing drugs to get ahead or stay afloat in capitalism
